Poker enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the return of the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The highly popular mid-major tour is set to take place from October 10-15 at the Hard Rock Casino Tulsa. The series will feature a variety of popular RGPS events, beginning with the Opening Night $160 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event on October 10 and culminating in the $600 Main Event from October 13-15.
This year’s RGPS marks a return to Tulsa for the first time since its opening stop earlier this year. That event saw Pete Petree clinch the Main Event, taking home $62,911 in winnings, his second RGPS ring. The tournament attracted an impressive 649 entries, generating a total prize pool of $337,480.
The upcoming Road Trip series promises exciting gameplay with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000 up for grabs in the Main Event. Participants will also compete for a spot in the Dream Seat Invitational at Thunder Valley Resort in November. The winner of this event will gain entry into the invitation-only PokerGO Tour Championship in December, where they will vie against top players for a staggering $1,000,000 prize pool.
The series kicks off on October 10 with a packed schedule including the $200 Seniors Ring Event followed by an $85 Main Event Satellite. Tuesday rounds off with an opportunity for players to win bounty envelopes containing RunGood Apparel store credit or $1,000 cash during the popular $160 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event.
On Wednesday, participants can join the $250 DeepStack Ring Event with two opening flights and vie for their share of the guaranteed prize pool of $25,000. Thursday brings another day filled with one-day events such as the $300 Big O Ring Event and more opportunities to try their luck at Flip and Go’s.
Friday sees survivors from earlier Flip and Go tables convene for Day 2, followed by the $300 Pot Limit Omaha Ring Event and yet another chance to secure a Main Event seat with the $145 Main Event Satellite. The first of three opening flights for the $600 RunGood Main Event commences at 6 p.m on Friday.
The subsequent two flights for the Main Event are scheduled for Saturday, October 14. All surviving participants will regroup on Sunday, October 15 for Day 2 restart. The final day of the series will see competitors battling it out for a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. The last chance to win comes at 1 p.m., with the $300 Black Chip Bounty NLH Ring Event.
