In a stunning comeback, Tom “sheeeeeeeeet” Hall emerged as the latest champion of 888poker’s $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event. With just 14 big blinds in his hand at the start of the eight-handed final table, Hall managed to outlast his competitors and secure the top spot, earning a handsome prize of $9,581. The tournament attracted 1,029 entrants, resulting in a prize pool of $102,900.

The event was not without its fair share of excitement and drama. Early on, “kremen89” from Ukraine claimed a hefty bounty worth $3,000 before being eliminated in 46th place. However, the biggest bounty went to Mexico’s “RamboTheDog”, who bagged an impressive $10,000 before bowing out in 44th place.

At the end of Day 1, only eight players were left vying for the championship title. “DaDumon” held the most chips with over 4.5 million (76 big blinds), while “MariaDnk” trailed behind with a mere 492,000 chips (eight big blinds).

Despite starting the final table with the second-lowest chip count, Hall demonstrated remarkable resilience and strategic brilliance to clinch first place. His victory continues his winning streak in the online poker world.

Meanwhile, the ChampionChip Games at 888poker have been busy crowning their own champions. Running from October 22-31, this series features low-stakes events each named after a sport. So far, eight events have concluded including the $22 Boxing event which was won by “LuiMartins”, earning him a prize of $1,819.

With more events lined up in the coming days, poker enthusiasts can look forward to exciting matchups and compelling gameplay at 888poker.
